Installation
Services
OpMail consists of 2 services:
OpMailServer provides the SMTP and POP3 servers and
OpMailSmtpSend sends outgoing SMTP mail
Like other services OpMail can be controlled using the Services control panel (WinNT) or Services MMC console (Win2k/XP).
The installation package will automatically attempt to install the services.
However if you can't see the services listed, you'll need to install them by hand.
From a command line in the installation directory, type the following:
OpMail.exe -install
OpMailSmtpSend.exe -install
Registry
A single registry entry is used to determine the location of the OpMail root directory.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Opcode\OpMailServer
This key contains a string entry named MailRoot containing the full path to the MailRoot directory, e.g:
C:\Program Files\OpMail\MailRoot
Directories
The installer should also create the correct directory tree.
